2. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using our website, or by placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or purchase our products.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding contract to purchase from us. By placing an order, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
4. Products & pricing
We take care to ensure that product descriptions, images and prices are accurate. We reserve the right to correct any errors and to change prices at any time without prior notice. Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.
5. Orders & contract
When you place an order, we'll send you an order confirmation by email. A binding contract between you and us is formed only when we dispatch the goods. We reserve the right to cancel any order before dispatch — for example, if a product is out of stock, if there has been a pricing error, or if we suspect fraud.
6. Payment
Payment is taken at the time of order via our secure checkout, powered by Shopify. We accept all major credit and debit cards as well as supported digital wallets.
7. Shipping & returns
Shipping and returns are governed by our Shipping Policy and Returns & Refunds Policy, both of which form part of these Terms.
8. UK road-legal use (EAPC)
Our eBikes comply with UK Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycle (EAPC) regulations: motor rated at no more than 250W, with assistance limited to 25 km/h (15.5 mph). They can be ridden on roads, cycle paths and bridleways without a licence, tax or insurance, provided the rider is at least 14 years old. It is your responsibility to use the bike in accordance with UK law.
9. Warranty
All eBikes carry a 2-year manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, in addition to your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with any product or these Terms is limited to the amount paid by you for the relevant product. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any loss resulting from misuse, modification, or failure to follow safety instructions.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
11. Intellectual property
All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and product designs — is owned by eBikes UK or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute or use any content without our prior written permission.
12. Privacy
We process personal data in line with UK GDPR. We only use your information to fulfil your order, provide customer support, and (with your consent) send you marketing emails you can unsubscribe from at any time.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your order will apply to that order.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
